The EU Referendum

Picture
Life is getting very tedious with all this in or out stuff, its hardly worth getting out of bed in the morning.  I mean 'Brexit' sounds like a cat food from a German supermarket. You just can't switch the TV on without someone giving an opinion - it's driven Mrs D to writing a song which I thought was quite amusing - so here it is.

So what's in it for me?

Mmmm... as you can see I take politics seriously, its always good to be well informed especially when hanging around in the park. Not awfully sure what's in the budget  for dogs, but I think George must be referring to me in the headline as I am obviously one of his 'makers and doers of business.'

Well, here we are in January  2014 and would you believe it... I have roses in the garden - and a touch of frost. No, not that detective chap but that cold icy stuff that chills my paws. I have a friend - a spaniel - whose 'mummy' has bought him some wellington boots, well... I wouldn't be seen dead in such things, I think he needs to 'man up' as humans say or in my language - 'Be more dog' which  I am very pleased to say has been introduced into human speak by one of those mobile phone companies.Speaking of such technological things I think they should invent Ipads for dogs and call them Ipaws!

Chilling out... what a silly expression that is on a day when i'ts 29 degrees in the shade and me in a fur coat. Humans say the most ridiculous things, why only the other day I heard one of them say 'cool' when she was handed a hot dog! Speaking of hot dogs whilst I love posing on my bean bag from that marvellous purveyor of top quality bags - Bean Bag Bazaar - I do have to nip off into the shade to 'cool' this hot dog down...must dash...
Bow for now XXX

Where has the time gone? I seem to have been soooo busy that I haven't been able to share my doggy doings with you all. What an exciting life I have had so far, and...I am snapped at wherever I go. No, not by other four legged's but by my admiring fans and being a smart dog I am quite used to smart phones being pointed my way but I do feel Mrs D ought to charge the happy snappers and I could top up my dog biscuits - although I do prefer the Rich Tea variety that the two legged's eat.
I do have some very sad news...Tom the cat left us for that  cattery in the sky - a great shame and he is sadly missed by all of us...he did have a rather splendid innings - 23 years - I should be so lucky!

Edgar Schnapps's first thoughts on Blogging

I thought it about time I started blogging. After all, everybody who is anybody seems to be doing it, except Tom - he 's the cat - well ... after all he is over a hundred in human years and I don't imagine there are many hundred year old humans out there doing it. If you know any Centurian Bloggers do let me know. Actually... I think I might be the first white mini Schnauzer to be blogging.
Isn't it rather exciting that I can share what goes on in my little doggie brain with you all?  I do see life from a very different perspective, nose to the ground and all that - and as you can see...a very handsome nose it is too.Tom of course just hasn't had the experience of being 'papped', whilst I  have already appeared in several glossies. The secret is  knowing how to pose. Remind me to tell you about my photo session for the Waitrose Chronicle - all about bones, one of my favourite subjects...unfortunately I bit off more than I could chew and it nearly ended in disaster. That should wet your appetite 'til my next blog.
