Enjoy  'Five Star Fun & Frolics.'

We all know what might have happened to Scheherazade if she had not had the wit, wisdom and willpower to tell the King a few stories. But If you're not sure who Scheherazade is, well... it's worth googling it. This modern day 'Scheherazade' tells a tale or two  -  From the wilds of Northumberland to the antiquities of Athens via London and a few - not so glamorous places in between. Meet the rich and famous before 'Celebrity Culture' became a British obsession and find out just why it pays to be nice to restaurant staff.

Meet Mo' in 'The Thoughts of Charwoman Mo.' - a feisty Geordie with a heart of gold and a total technophobe of a husband. There's nothing delights Mo' more than a good gossip peppered with her own brand of pithy, and sometimes saucy wit. Hear her  opinions on - life, men, her views on education; men; the Health Service; and men. Often profound and surprisingly astute in her observations, Mo' is a loveable gritty character with a mega mix of malapropisms in her wide, if somewhat confused vocabulary.

Hot off the press:
Mo swept them off their feet on Broadway where she starred in 'The Dustrap

.'

But, if you are seeking intellectual content, then Dr Iona Wee-Doggie is probably to be avoided. Her lecture 'To the Immoral Memory of Robert Burns.' is an inspiration to those in search of a life of decadence and debauchery. She holds the chair of 'Immorality in Literature' - at The University of Scots Gap and her thoughts on the changing face of education and whether to wear black silk or blue stockings, are really all the education you will ever need.

Or there's always 'Adams Rib' - an occasionally enlightening and entertaining talk on some wonderful, weird and  whacky women. Colourful characters in their own right    who have inspired, amused and sometimes even shocked.

Hear the plight of the Bumble Bee in 'To Bee Or Not To Bee' ...

'It's  not much fun being a Queen Bee these days, what with diseased drones and Cousin Beatrice - who really is quite Royal despite her silly hats - but not as important as me. I mean... would you like to have to lay your body weight in eggs every day? Oh no... at my time of life - I need a change of career.'

and so bumbles on the Queen Bee in her quirky  monologue, with thoughts on - science, sex and politics, all relatively rounded off with Einstein - a buzz for all intellects.
